Rising Producer Ferrofluid Explores Rhythm, Texture & Abstraction With New Downtempo Single Via Of The Trees’ Memory Palace
October 23rd, 2026 — Rising electronic producer Ferrofluid officially arrives on Memory Palace, the artist-driven label founded by Of The Trees, with a new downtempo-leaning single, “Design”, exploring the space between rhythm, texture, and abstraction.
Relaxed in its pacing but experimental in its construction, the track unfolds through subtle sound design, evolving textures, and spacious production, creating an immersive listen from start to finish.
The release reflects the central philosophy behind Ferrofluid, an electronic music project built around the exploration of perception, emotion, transformation, and the relationship between structure and abstraction. Each of his releases serve as its own study in how contrasting elements can coexist, balancing technical precision with intuitive expression.

Ferrofluid is the work of an artist whose music often intersects with progressive visual art to create multisensory experiences. That same emphasis on atmosphere and narrative carries into the project’s live performances, with Ferrofluid currently joining Of The Trees on select tour dates. Recent performances include Moody Amphitheater in Austin alongside Of The Trees, Jade Cicada, and Mr. Bill, as well as an October 10 performance at The Ruins in Napa Valley alongside Of The Trees, Kursa x Alicia Kiah, and Mickman.
The release also marks another addition to the evolving world of Memory Palace, which has established itself as a home for artists exploring experimental, downtempo, and left-field electronic music. Recent releases from DMVU, Mindset, and Of The Trees x Tape B have continued to expand the label’s sonic identity while maintaining its emphasis on creative freedom and intentional world-building.
Ferrofluid’s latest single adds another dimension to that ecosystem - offering a quieter, more exploratory perspective centered on atmosphere, texture, and interpretation.
Ferrofluid’s latest single is out October 23rd via Memory Palace.
