Michael Bibi Plays Surprise Set At Beachouse Ibiza, Donates €56,021 To Cancer Charity APAAC
Michael Bibi continues to prove that music and purpose can go hand in hand. In a heartfelt surprise performance at Beachouse Ibiza, the UK-based DJ and producer raised an impressive €56,021 in door donations, which he fully donated to APAAC — the Pitiusa Association for Cancer Support — a charity providing free services to individuals undergoing cancer treatment in Ibiza and Formentera.
The unannounced set was far from a typical Ibiza after-party. Instead, it was a moment of unity and generosity. “There’s something special about the chaos and spontaneity of it all,” Bibi shared. “But this time, instead of an after-party, I wanted to channel that energy into something with meaning.”
APAAC, the local cancer support association, focuses on providing emotional and physical care, including therapy, consulting, and social aid, without charging patients. In 2023 alone, hundreds of lives were impacted by their efforts.
Playing his first-ever set at Beachouse, Michael Bibi said it reignited the feeling that made him fall in love with the scene — the community. “Last night was one of those moments where you could really feel that unity,” he said. “If we can turn our challenges into something that supports others, then that’s what it’s all about.”
Diagnosed in 2023 with a rare brain cancer known as CNS lymphoma, Bibi underwent six months of treatment and entered remission. His return to the stage in 2024 has been nothing short of powerful, performing at major venues and festivals across the globe.

Next, Michael Bibi heads to Brooklyn Navy Yard in New York City on Saturday, May 17, for a special show with Teksupport, before heading back to Europe for performances in Spain, the UK, and Belgium.
