Marlon Hoffstadt Drops New Single, “Get Buck”

Track Is From His New Album Das Ist Daddy, Set For August 7 Release

As he prepares to take the mainstage at Tomorrowland in Belgium later today, acclaimed Berlin-based producer/DJ Marlon Hoffstadt – also known as DJ Daddy Trance – shared his new single “Get Buck.” The track, which he wrote and produced with Tobias Wincorn (Christina Aguilera, Panic! At the Disco) and Vaughn Oliver (Kim Petras, Latto), is a high-energy, Latin-tinged club banger. Listen to “Get Buck” HERE.

“Get Buck” is from Marlon Hoffstadt’s new album, Das Ist Daddy, set for August 7 release via Capitol Records in partnership with Goodlife Management and MC3. When he made his Coachella debut in April  “Das Ist Daddy” – which translates as That Is Daddy in English – flashed across the Sahara Stage screen. It was a full-circle moment for an artist who had just brought 300 of his fans on stage with him. Now, Das Ist Daddy will soon arrive as an album, fueled by that same fan-first energy. Pre-order /pre-save Das Ist Daddy HERE.

Earlier this month, he shared the high-octane anthem “Party People,” which opens the album. View the official video for “Party People,” which features footage shot during his Coachella set, HERE.

In addition to Tomorrowland, Marlon Hoffstadt will be performing at numerous EU/UK festivals this summer. In September, he’ll head to the U.S. to play CRSSD Music Festival in San Diego, CA (September 26 ) and Portola Music Festival in San Francisco (September 27). He’ll return to the States for EDC Orlando in November. See below for itinerary. Tickets are available HERE.

Hailed as “a global dance phenomenon, a defining DJ of the now” by Mixmag in a recent cover story, his recent collaboration with southstar, “I Like,” was highlighted as among the best new tracks by Billboard Dance, Dancing Astronaut, We Rave You, DJ Mag Germany and many others. Praising his remix of aespa’s “Lemonade,” allkpop said, “”Marlon Hoffstadt reinterprets the track through his hard-groove sound, adding acidic textures, a faster tempo, and a rave-inspired edge” while EDM.com praised his “euphoric, nostalgic blend of trance and Eurodance.”
