Kimerik Blaze Unleashes Dark Cinematic Single ‘Murder on the Dancefloor’

Producer and vocalist Kimerik Blaze is diving into the shadows with his haunting new release, ‘Murder on the Dancefloor’, out July 11. The track, now available across streaming platforms, fuses dark cinematic EDM with synthwave and industrial textures, creating a hypnotic soundscape that feels like a ritual unfolding under flashing club lights.

    A Dance With Shadows

The title isn’t about violence, but transformation. Murder on the Dancefloor tells the story of surrender — killing off inhibitions, giving in to temptation, and letting the darker parts of yourself run free for one night. With ghostly vocal harmonies, distorted synth lines, and cinematic sound design, Blaze pulls listeners deep into an electrified atmosphere where chaos and beauty collide.

    The Artist Behind the Darkness

Blaze’s journey started more than 17 years ago in the world of vocal trance and EDM, but over time he leaned into moodier, cinematic territory. Drawing inspiration from Lana Del Rey’s storytelling, David Kushner’s atmospheric edge, and synth-driven visionaries like The Midnight and Empire of the Sun, Blaze has carved out a style he describes in three words: haunting, cinematic, hypnotic.

Outside of music, his passion for the occult and spirituality shapes much of his sound. Rituals, tarot, and a lifelong connection to energy infuse the mystical undertones that define his songs.

    Looking Ahead

With an album on the horizon — The Fall Before Grace, a slower, cinematic project built around an Angels & Demons aesthetic — and a promise of new releases every three weeks, Blaze is building a universe where music acts as both spell and story. Festivals like Tomorrowland and EDC Las Vegas are on his dream list, stages that would perfectly match his dark yet euphoric energy.

For now, Murder on the Dancefloor offers fans a portal into that world. As Blaze puts it: “Music is ritual for me. Every track I create is like casting a spell. Darkness isn’t something to fear — it’s something to dance with.”
