COSTA, SKXLLFLOWER & LIMMZ Unleash Dark And Heavyweight New Single “GRAFT” Via Deadbeats
Los Angeles, CA (October 28, 2026) — Bass music breakout star COSTA proves once again that his creative reach knows no bounds as he joins forces with award-winning vocalist, songwriter, and producer Linney to unleash “Siren Call,” arriving via Monstercat on Wednesday, October 28. Marking the serial-hitmaker’s most introspective release yet, the collaboration charts an odyssey of sound and subconscious, delivering a listening experience as intoxicating as it is unnerving.
Dark, cinematic and suffocating, “Siren Call” captures the unease of being locked inside the echo chamber of your own mind, where self-doubt ricochets off the walls slowly closing in around you. As the track unfolds, its haunting atmosphere descends one semitone at a time, plunging the listener into a steady spiral there's no climbing out of. Denying any sense of reprieve, the build suspends the sonic exhale to the brink of unbearable tension, as the hook holds its breath and your sanity in the balance. When the pressure can mount no further, it fractures. The floor gives way to a dissonant drop that floods the soundscape with towering, detuned synths, warping melody and mayhem into a single disorienting force. Throughout, Linney’s hypnotic vocals intertwine with COSTA’s meticulously emotive production, delivering an inescapable sense of gravity that renders it impossible to tell where the cut ends and your psyche begins. Just when the heart-pounding trepidation subsides, “Siren Call” fades out, leaving listeners as they began: alone with their thoughts and a lingering question that threatens to lure them back in.

Unearthed from a single six-hour co-writing session, “Siren Call” distills a shared reverence for storytelling into something deeply personal to both artists: the weight of expectation to prove oneself, and the vulnerability that lurks beneath it. Despite coming from different corners of the industry, COSTA and Linney discovered they were often navigating the same fears—of being judged, of falling short, of reaching for help and finding no one there—anxieties as common as they are isolating. Therein lies the “Siren Call”: whispers of doubt unique to everyone, yet universally known, inescapable, once you lend them your ear.
From COSTA: “The inspiration for this track actually started with a vocal I found about someone whose mind is on autopilot, lost in their own head, not knowing where anyone around them is. Capturing that feedback loop, when you’re chasing something and your own thoughts start turning against you, became the production blueprint for the song. It’s dark and somber, but there is so much emotion underneath. It’s awful in the best way. When we got in the studio, Linney and I connected on that almost instantly. No matter how far you get, there’s always a little bit of doubt waiting for an opportunity to creep in—and I think that’s something everyone experiences in their own way. It was my first time ever writing lyrics, and finding a way to give those feelings a voice with Linney felt completely natural, because we’ve both lived them. I’m really proud of where we took this one.”

From Linney: “‘Siren Call’ is about the fear of letting someone see every part of you, especially the parts you usually keep hidden. It lives in that space between wanting to be saved and being terrified of what happens if someone gets close enough to really know you. The song feels like a cry from underwater, asking: if you knew all my secrets, would you still reach in and pull me out?”
Hot on the heels of his first two original releases “You Got Me” and “Dimension,” “Siren Call” arrives amidst a year already running full-tilt for COSTA. Drawing on elements of hip-hop and Y2K pop sounds, his rapid ascent has been fueled by innovative productions that bend genre conventions rather than obey them. Years before bass music entered the picture, the 23-year-old artist came up in the tri-state’s underground hip-hop scene, where he developed a sensibility for storytelling and crowd energy that continues to inform his unique brand of artistry. Charged by cinematic tension and the sheer depth of his own creative vision, every cut unleashes a sonic universe built to wreck a room—unpredictable by nature, breathless and nostalgic in the same instant.

With a catalog of remixes as unpredictable as they are instantly recognizable, the DJ & producer had built a reputation for visceral release reactions long before ever dropping an original. Harnessing an instinctual ability to transform familiar favorites into something distinctly his own, COSTA has earned a rabid fan base through flips of tracks like Timbaland’s “The Way I Are,” Tove Lo’s “Talking Body,” and Selena Gomez’s “Slow Down,” surpassing 5 million streams on SoundCloud within just a year. That momentum has translated into support from indu
