The deal, finalized on November 22, 2024, marks the end of an era for one of the most influential Progressive House labels in electronic music history.

Founded by Axwell, Axtone Records has been synonymous with the Progressive House sound, dominating the late 2000s and 2010s with a catalog that includes defining tracks such as ‘Tell Me Why,’ ‘Leave The World Behind,’ ‘In My Mind,’ and ‘All That Matters.’ The label became a platform for both emerging and established artists, shaping the sound of a generation and earning its place as a cornerstone of the EDM scene.

Despite its storied history, Axtone’s activity has slowed in recent years.
