After nearly 3 years since his last EP and overwhelming anticipation from fans indicated by his recent sold out headline show at Meow Wolf Denver, Flintwick comes back with his Lurching EP, a certified dance floor weapon featuring all the psychedelic flare and unexpected turns anticipated from Flintwick, laced with chunky, heavier grooves than has yet to be showcased by our favorite cat in glitchy bass music.
Flintwick ‘Lurching’
This adventurous four-track not only showcases Flintwick’s familiar glitch-hop style in two funky bangers, ‘Lurching’ and ‘Late Checkout’ but also features a collaboration with the vocalist Yongi for a “slurky”, ominous, bass hit with thought provoking lyrics and a nasty swing in the rhythm section.

Rounding out the journey is an absolute wild card- Flintwick drum and bass. Featuring a tight, evolving groove held together with those classic other-worldly synths and sound design that captured the listeners attention from the beginning of his artistic journey.
Flintwick shares on the ‘Lurching’ EP, “For this EP I really wanted to go for a more heavy-weight, loud, full, sound while still retaining the experimental sound design and glitchy troupes that my fans expect.
I’ve never been one to focus as much on bangin’ drums and chunkier grooves that typically appeal to a larger audience than past styles I’ve released, so I figured this would be my first attempt at dipping my toes in that water.
Along with that, I also wanted to finally showcase other sides of my production that I’ve never released- my first collaboration released with a vocalist- as well as a drum and bass track that has been absolutely destroying dance floors. This project as a whole feels the closest I’ve come to achieving my initial idea of what I wanted Flintwick to always sound like, so it’s quite a meaningful step in my journey to finally release these.”
Flintwick releases this grand slam of an EP ahead of his appearances at upcoming festivals such as Sound Haven and Backwoods, in the Ozarks of his home state of Arkansas.
Over the years the creative and always curious multi-instrumentalist, Producer and DJ has gained a loyal following leading to performances such as B2B with Freddy Todd, opening for Papadosio, Desert Dwellers and Psymbionic and at the staple bass music festivals Infrasound, Backwoods, Sound Haven, Dancefestopia, Kosmic Kingdom, BigFoot Electric and Rekinnection, among others.
