Sub Focus Drops Fourth Studio Album ‘Contact’: Listen

Sub Focus is back in full force. The UK heavyweight has released Contact, a 14-track album on Casablanca Records that brings together every sonic idea he’s been experimenting with in recent years. The result is a cohesive, forward-driving body of work reinforced by a stacked lineup of collaborators including Grimes, Fireboy DML, John Summit, Katy B, IRAH, bbyclose, Poppy Baskcomb, Connie Constance, and Inez. Each guest enhances the record while keeping his production identity at the center.

Across the album, Sub Focus moves confidently through drum and bass, electro, trance and even dancehall influences, all tied together by strong, vocal-led structures. Tracks like Entwined with Grimes and Original Don featuring Fireboy DML showcase his futuristic edge and undeniable hooks. Go Back with John Summit continues its global rise, already surpassing 151 million streams, while Push The Tempo with Katy B earned him his first ever US dance-radio No. 1.

Beyond the sound, Contact arrives with a striking visual direction crafted by Sub Focus alongside photographer Neil Krug and design studio Big Active. Inspired by retro-futurism, space-race aesthetics and NASA’s iconic Voyager Golden Record, the album’s artwork expands the project’s forward-looking vision.

Contact caps off a landmark year for Sub Focus. His Circular Sound show sold out London’s Alexandra Palace and L.A.’s Shrine, and as a member of the WORSHIP collective, he became the first drum and bass act in history to headline and sell out Red Rocks Amphitheatre. The momentum continues with yet another sold-out date at London’s KOKO as the album lands.
