Skrillex unleashes new EP hit me where it hurts x featuring Dylan Brady, Caroline Polachek & more

Skrillex just widened one of the most talked-about chapters of his career with the release of his full hit me where it hurts x EP, a deeper dive into the standout ideas orbiting his critically acclaimed album FCK U SKRILLEX YOU THINK UR ANDY WARHOL BUT UR NOT!! <3*. The drop arrives just a week after the explosive title track featuring Dylan Brady and Caroline Polachek, who recorded brand-new vocals exclusively for this reimagined version, already fueling a wave of hype across the internet.

Last month, Skrillex set the pace for the EP by unleashing “fuze” alongside ISOxo, fresh off their blistering b2b at Niteharts Festival that had the entire scene buzzing. Across the EP’s five tracks, he taps into an ecosystem of close collaborators, Nakeesha, Virtual Riot, Varg2™, and more, all helping shape the next phase of Skrillex’s sonic evolution.

The focus cut, “Voltage (See You Again)”, ties the project together. Revisiting the GRAMMY-nominated idea he originally crafted back in 2010, Skrillex completely rebuilds the track with modern production, fresh vocals from himself and the original contributors, and a renewed emotional punch — transforming one of his earliest touchstones into something built for today’s dance floors.

The EP also lands at a pivotal moment: Skrillex enters the 2026 GRAMMYs with nominations for Best Dance/Electronic Album and Best Dance/Electronic Recording tied to the parent album and “VOLTAGE.”

To top it off, he surprised fans with a limited-edition vinyl pressing and a new merch capsule inspired by DJ Smokey’s contributions — including the instantly-coveted “Shadow Wizard Skrillex Gang” tee that’s already circulating across fan pages.
