REZZ TEAMS UP WITH OWL VISION ON NEW SINGLE “DOWNWARD” FROM UPCOMING ALBUM AS THE PENDULUM SWINGS
Canadian DJ and producer Rezz has unveiled her latest single “Downward”, a collaboration with Swedish artist Owl Vision, out now via HypnoVizion. The track arrives as the final preview of her upcoming fifth studio album As The Pendulum Swings, set for release on September 12.
Layering industrial undertones with retro, video game-inspired sonics, “Downward” blends Rezz’s hypnotic midtempo sound with Owl Vision’s gritty textures. The result is a pulsating track filled with entrancing melodies, distorted basslines, and immersive rhythms. Accompanied by a full 8-bit animated music video, the single expands the visual world of As The Pendulum Swings with a nostalgic gaming aesthetic.
Speaking on the collaboration, Rezz shared:
“I went on a deep dive on some of my favorite underground midtempo and industrial producers, and I re-discovered Owl Vision. I reached out and he sent me a demo, which I finished within a day or two. It was super fun and I’m stoked for everyone to see the video we got made for it.”
Owl Vision added:
“We had talked about working together a few years back so I’m really glad we reconnected. It literally only took a few days before we had a finished song. I think we both got really excited when we found the sound. I’m hoping fans will hear both of our styles shining through on this one.”

“Downward” joins singles “Glass Veins”, “Prophecy”, “Contorted”, and “Telepathy” as part of the album rollout. Following its release, Rezz will headline the Tacoma Dome on September 26, becoming the first female electronic DJ to headline the venue.
