OHN SUMMIT COMPLETES HIS FIRST FULLY SOBER TOUR WITH AN UNFORGETTABLE INDIA RUN

John Summit just wrapped up what he calls his “first fully sober tour,” but beyond that personal milestone, his India tour will go down as one of the most memorable electronic music runs in the country’s history. Covering three cities, two club shows, and one festival, Summit didn’t just bring his electrifying sets—he fully immersed himself in the culture, music, and flavors of India, even concluding that his body runs surprisingly well on Indian food.

The journey kicked off in Pune at BALLR, marking the biggest club gig the city had seen in eight years. The last time an artist of this scale played a club show here was Cirez D in 2017. Summit made sure to soak in the sights with a local culture tour, and the inspiration might have translated into a few surprise mashups during his set. The energy in the room was next-level, especially for rising Indian talent D-RAIN, who had a surreal full-circle moment hearing his own edit dropped by John in real-time.

“Hearing John Summit drop my edit in Pune was pure madness—the energy, the crowd, the moment, everything just clicked. It was a surreal full-circle experience I’ll never forget.”

Next stop was Quake Arena in Hyderabad, Asia’s biggest nightclub, where the sheer magnitude of the venue matched the energy of the night. The tour wasn’t just about the music—Summit also had his first taste of Hyderabad’s famous biryani, an experience that left a lasting impression (and probably a bit of a spice kick).

Finally, Lollapalooza India became the grand closing chapter of this tour. Not only did Summit deliver yet another packed-out, high-energy set, but he also crossed paths with fellow house music heavyweight Alok for the first time. His appreciation for India’s growing electronic music scene was evident, as he laced his set with edits of Indian acts, showing love for the country’s rising talent. One such artist, Sixth Ocean, had the unforgettable experience of hearing his work played out at one of the biggest festivals in the region.

Summit’s India tour was more than just another stop on the road—it was an experience that blended music, culture, and connection in a way that will be remembered both by him and the fans who witnessed it.
