North Coast Music Festival’s 15th Anniversary Celebration announces star-studded schedule for official afterparty series ‘NIGHT LIGHTS’

In celebration of its 15th Anniversary installment, Chicagoland’s premier electronic music event, North Coast Music Festival, has unveiled the programming for its star-studded official afterparty series, ‘NIGHT LIGHTS.’ With 27 afterparties scheduled in and around Chicago between Friday, August 29 – August 31, 2025, ‘NIGHT LIGHTS’ will feature some of dance music’s biggest acts – and mark North Coast’s most ambitious nighttime programming to date.

On Friday, August 29, North Coast attendees can venture around the SeatGeek Stadium venue and into Chicago to find sets from Chris Lake at TAOKaskade at House Of BluesSVDDEN DEATH at 115 Bourbon StreetGalantis at Sound-BarLouis The Child at POLEKATZLil Texas at The Pavilion at Branding IronKai Wachi at Joe’s On Weed StRay Volpe at Magoos, and Ian Asher at Electric Hotel.

Saturday’s roster of talent features Excision at House Of Blues, SOFI TUKKER at Ramova TheatreOf The Trees (Odds & Ends Set) at Garcia’sATLiens at Joe on Weed St, NGHTMRE at TAOLP Giobbi at Electric HotelDimension at The Pavilion at Branding IronZingara at MagoosDetox Unit at Sound-Bar, and Westend & Joshwa at POLEKATZ.

Sunday night’s billing will host Zeds Dead B2B Liquid Stranger at Ramova TheatreDaily Bread at House of BluesARMNHMR at TAOApashe at MagoosBonnie X Clyde at Electric HotelStooges + VKTM at The Pavillion at Branding Iron, and Brownies & Lemonade w/ Surprise Guests at POLEKATZ.

North Coast has also unveiled the official set times for the main festival event, returning to SeatGeek Stadium in Bridgeview, IL from Friday, August 29 – August 31, 2025.

On Friday, August 29, Chris Lake will close out the Stadium: Evolved stage for a two-hour set from 10:00 PM – 12:00 AM, while Kaskade shuts down the Shipyard 360 stage from 9:15 PM – 10:45 PM. and SVDDEN DEATH PRESENTS VOYD wraps up the day at the Mega Vega stage from 9:30 PM – 11:00 PM.

On Saturday, August 30, stage closers include Excision at Stadium: Evolved from 10:45 PM – 11:00 PM, Sofi Tukker at Shipyard 360 from 10:00 PM – 11:15 PM, then Seven Lions at Mega Vega from 9:30 PM – 10:45 PM.

On Sunday, August 31, Zeds Dead will shut down a stacked day of sets at the Stadium: Evolved stage from 9:15 PM – 10:30 PM, RL Grime will finish up the Brownies & Lemonade takeover at Shipyard 360 from 8:45 PM – 10:00 PM, while Zedd performs the final Mega Vega set of the year from 8:30 PM – 9:45 PM.

North Coast 2025’s afterparty programming isn’t the only way the festival is going big for this year’s instalment – the three-day event has also implemented transformative stage upgrades that represent a fitting tribute to its monumental 15-year milestone. North Coast’s main stage, newly titled ‘Stadium: Evolved,’ will feature a custom stage that is 95 feet larger than previous years, as well as an extended DJ booth that protrudes into the crowd, 680 watts of lasers, 270 tanks of C02, 16,000,000 pixels of video, 317,000 watts of sound, and a re-imagined fireworks & pyro system that will be implemented on the stadium roof.
North Coast is also adapting the stage formerly known as The Shipyard into an immersive 360° experience by surrounding its newly updated, custom DJ booth with 12 pillars of laser, pyro, CO2, and all-encompassing hi-fi audio – and updating the name to Shipyard 360.
North Coast has also revealed the new version of The Vega Stage – now called the Mega Vega. The new stage updates its platform with a 20% larger structure, 450 watts of lasers, 5,160,900 lumens of lighting, 24,600,000 pixels of video, and 135,000 watts of sound – specs that will elevate the space into a spectacular showcase of awe-inspiring production and sound.

North Coast 2025‘s innovative programming and improved stage designs portend an unforgettable celebration of the festival’s 15-year legacy as a trailblazer in the electronic music industry, consistently procuring top-tier talent with a forward-thinking vision. Beyond its world-class musical offerings, this milestone anniversary invites Coasties to immerse themselves in a dynamic fusion of experiential programming, large-scale art installations, and a diverse array of food, beverage, and shopping vendors, making it an unmissable celebration of music and culture.
