Marshmello kicks off another high-energy chapter in his dance-pop journey, joining forces with rising star INJI for “Kissin My Friends,” out now on Joytime Collective. The single blends shuffling percussion, flashes of drum & bass, and INJI’s bold, tongue-in-cheek vocals into a neon-lit anthem built for chaotic nights out and questionable decisions with your favorite crew.
Already teased across TikTok, the track arrives with all the ingredients of a viral festival moment — bubbly hooks, club-ready bounce, and that nostalgic-fun edge that INJI has become known for.
Speaking about the collab, INJI recalls the surreal moment Marshmello first reached out:

“When Marshmello DM’d me saying he had a song for me, I thought the account was hacked… He said he kept seeing my TikToks — at a time I was barely getting any attention. When I heard the song, it was weirdly accurate for my life. It’s huge, it flows, it’s got that DnB danceability and a flirty nostalgic optimism. I fell in love instantly.”
The release follows Marshmello’s explosive 2025 start, including his Jonas Brothers collab “Slow Motion,” now past 50 million Spotify streams, and a series of genre-bending drops—from Ellie Goulding and AVAION, to country-EDM crossovers with Jelly Roll and Hudson Westbrook.
INJI, meanwhile, continues her meteoric rise after the viral success of “GASLIGHT” and “BELLYDANCING.” Named Billboard’s Dance Rookie of the Month, she’s gearing up for a major 2026 headline tour with stops across Europe, Canada, and the U.S.

Both artists are entering their next big era: Marshmello relaunches Joytime Collective as a platform for independent releases and new talent, while INJI embraces her boundary-pushing electro-pop identity on a global stage.
“Kissin My Friends” is more than a collab — it’s a carefree, high-voltage bridge between two generations of dance-pop energy.
