John Summit Confirmed as the Final Mainstage Closing Act for Ultra Music Festival 2026

John Summit just secured one of the biggest honors in global dance music: he has officially been announced as the final Mainstage closing act for Ultra Music Festival 2026 on Sunday, March 29th, at Miami’s Bayfront Park. The slot is one of the most prestigious in the industry — a defining moment reserved only for the genre’s top-tier heavyweights — further cementing Summit’s meteoric rise from the underground to worldwide dominance.

This booking also perfectly illustrates his rapid evolution at Ultra. Back in 2022, Summit played the intimate Resistance Cove stage. By 2025, he was already on the Mainstage for a massive back-to-back performance with Dom Dolla under their Everything Always project. Now, in 2026, he takes full command of the festival’s most coveted moment: the solo Mainstage finale.

Summit has already confirmed he’ll debut new music from his upcoming album during the set, setting the stage for a globally streamed moment that could shape his next era.

Born and raised in Chicago — the sacred birthplace of House music — John Summit’s story has become one of dance music’s most iconic come-ups. From full-time accountant to international headliner, his breakthrough arrived in 2020 with “Deep End,” which became the longest-running Beatport No. 1 of the year and launched him into mainstream recognition.

His sound blends House, Tech House, and Techno, bridging underground grit with festival-size energy. Since 2021, Summit has headlined Coachella, Tomorrowland, EDC, and more, while building his own powerhouse label and brand Experts Only (formerly Off The Grid). With his UMF 2026 closing set confirmed, Summit steps confidently into his role as one of the most influential stars of his generation.
