Hulaween 2025 Set Times
Arrival: Thursday Night’s Homecoming
The journey begins on Thursday with “Beyond the Radiant Veil: There’s No Place Like Home,” where characters from Oz gather in masquerade. Festival-goers arrive at their temporary home in the swamp, some settling into the new Wizard Passes glamping tents—complete with cozy bedding, bistro tables, and portable cooling units that feel luxurious after a long day of travel.
As night falls, The Meadow comes alive. This main stage, surrounded by towering trees and equipped with dazzling production, serves as the festival’s beating heart. Here, The String Cheese Incident will perform six sets across the weekend, with Goose adding two more jam-packed performances. The natural amphitheater fills with dancing bodies as ILLENIUM’s electronic beats pulse through the swamp air, while Molly Tuttle’s roots music and Grace Bowers & The Hodge Podge bring a different energy to the same sacred space.

Friday: Down the Rabbit Hole
Friday plunges everyone deeper into wonderland with “The Mad Hatter’s Purple Ball.” The festival’s true character emerges as people venture beyond The Meadow to explore the other realms scattered throughout the park.
Deep in The Hallows, where Spanish moss hangs like curtains, The Disco Biscuits deliver their psychedelic jams while bass music from Mersiv shakes the ground beneath ancient oak trees. This is where genres blur most dramatically—where Glass Beams’ dreamy soundscapes share space with the experimental collaboration of LSZEE (LSDREAM meeting CloZee) and where Heavy Pets brings their jam sensibilities to an increasingly electronic landscape.
Meanwhile, The Amph pulses with pure dance energy. DJ Pee .Wee—Anderson .Paak’s vinyl-only alter ego—spins records while Zeds Dead commands the bass-heavy night. The legendary Digable Planets brings hip-hop history to the mix, while UK garage specialist Sammy Virji and house masters like Westend keep the crowd moving until dawn.
Saturday: The Heart of Darkness and Light
Saturday night’s “Vampires, Sinners, & Saints” theme sets the stage for the festival’s most intense evening. This is when Joe Russo’s Almost Dead claims The Hallows for a special two-hour journey through Grateful Dead territory, while LSDREAM offers something completely different—a Lightcode guided meditation designed to reset souls before the weekend’s final push.
But perhaps the most magical transformation happens at Spirit Lake, where projection mapping turns the water’s surface into a canvas of light. Gorgon City’s house beats reflect off the lake while moe. performs two sets against this surreal backdrop. The Infamous Stringdusters collaborate with Sierra Hull, creating acoustic moments that feel intimate despite the surrounding electronic playground. Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country brings psychedelic twang to a stage surrounded by towering sculptures and interactive art installations.
Hidden away, the OFF LIMITS stage—a collaboration with women-led event company DEFINE EVERYTHING FUTURE—creates the festival’s most underground experience. With its 360-degree design and Funktion-One sound system, it’s where BLOND:ISH and Odd Mob deliver intimate sets to crowds surrounded by hypnotizing lights and pyro effects. Secret performances happen here every night, rewarding those adventurous enough to seek them out.

Sunday: The Circus Finale
As Halloween weekend concludes, “Wicked Dark Disco Circus” takes over. The festival reaches its crescendo with sequins, animal prints, and forest creatures taking center stage. Parcels brings their disco-funk to The Meadow while Pigeons Playing Ping Pong delivers their high-energy performance. Throughout the park, DJs like Tinlicker and Sultan + Shepard keep the party alive as festival-goers savor their final hours in this temporary utopia.
The Amph transforms into a house and bass wonderland with artists like Dr. Fresch and Disco Lines ensuring no one stands still. At Spirit Lake, Dogs in a Pile jams against the backdrop of fire effects and interactive installations, while the OFF LIMITS stage continues its secret programming, creating intimate moments of connection before everyone must return to the regular world.
Beyond the Music
Between sets, festival-goers discover the limited-edition artwork created by Sangho Bang—the artist behind collaborations with Rick & Morty and Phish—available as screen prints that capture the weekend’s magic in tangible form. The pre-sale ends on September 12th, but those who wait can find the artwork on-site alongside two other artist collaborations yet to be revealed.
As Sunday night winds down and the 12th annual Hulaween draws to a close, thousands of temporary residents pack up their memories along with their camping gear. Some will have experienced their first Hulaween, others their twelfth. But all will carry with them the understanding that for four days in the Florida swamp, they were part of something larger than themselves—a celebration where music, art, and human connection converged in ways that seemed impossible anywhere else.
The Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park returns to its quiet existence, but it holds the promise that next October, the magic will happen all over again.
