Don Diablo Unveils New Drum & Bass Alias: CONTROL ALT DΞLΞTΞ

Renowned electronic music producer Don Diablo has officially launched his drum & bass side project, CONTROL ALT DΞLΞTΞ, marking an exciting new chapter in his career. The debut single, “Maniac”, featuring UK grime icon P Money, was released on January 24, 2025, under his HEXAGON label, delivering a fusion of high-energy bass music and futuristic sound design.

CONTROL ALT DΞLΞTΞ offers a raw and adrenaline-fueled approach to drum & bass, blending nostalgia and innovation. The project’s first release, “Maniac,” reimagines Michael Sembello’s classic ’80s hit, infusing it with modern, high-octane production that bridges past and future dance music.

“With my new alias CONTROL ALT DΞLΞTΞ, I am exploring a more bass music-focused side of myself as a producer,” Don Diablo shared. “Maniac has always been one of my favorite songs growing up. It’s one of those timeless ’80s tracks that’s just pure adrenaline and emotion. The driving rhythm and iconic synth lines feel like they were destined to be reimagined in a drum & bass tune, where high-energy beats meet raw nostalgia.”
