David Guetta has officially claimed the record for the most #1 tracks on Billboard’s Dance/Mix Show Airplay chart. His latest hit, “Forever Young”, featuring Ava Max and inspired by Alphaville’s 1984 classic, marks his 17th chart-topper, surpassing Calvin Harris, who previously held the title.
Released in October 2024, “Forever Young” is a nostalgic yet modern reimagining of Alphaville’s synthpop anthem. The track’s success underscores Guetta’s unparalleled influence in electronic music, as he leads the chart rankings ahead of Rihanna with 12 and The Chainsmokers with 10. According to Billboard, the Dance/Mix Show Airplay chart has been tracking airplay on dance stations and mix shows since 2003.
