Alenn’s ‘Hear Me’ on Cracking Records, For Future Bass and House Heads Alike

Presenting Cracking Records by Mazdem is the Spanish imprint’s latest release from Alenn, ‘Hear Me’. You will be trying to wrap your mind around the sound design for this house record that pushes with new dynamics, so we asked for some insight from the Valencia based producer. Alenn shares,

“‘Hear Me’, was created with the intention of blending bass house with future house, while adding touches of vintage synthesizers for the breaks. I also wanted to make something a bit more melodic than usual, and this was the final result.”

We have all seen those protégée music producer kids while scrolling on social media these days, well that was Alenn before scrolling existed as he was dipping his fingers in music production at the age of 14. Within 10 years he made debuts on serious labels such as Confession, Bite This, Revealed Records, Hybrid Trap, Future Bass, Brookly Fire or Diverge Records, among others. And his music has been supported by big names on the scene like Marshmello, Tchami, Jauz, Hardwell, Sikdope, Matroda, Shaun Frank or Tommie Sunshine.

With Cracking Records, Alenn explores an area of house music that is rarely visited, bringing us sounds that resonates well with future bass fans and house heads alike.

After you give ‘Hear Me’ a spin sample the Mazdem‘s timeless tech house rework of the Jefferson Airplane’s 1967 song, ‘Want Somebody to Love’, among other essential contributions to the electronic music scene from Cracking Records.
