AUDIOJACK RETURN TO DIRTYBIRD WITH SULTRY NEW SINGLE “RUMOURS”

UK-based DJ duo Audiojack have dropped their brand-new single “Rumours”, released as part of Dirtybird’s 20th anniversary celebrations. The track is now available on all platforms via Dirtybird Records.

Built around a sample from Embee & Sandra Isabel’s “Dirty Laundry”, “Rumours” melds R&B-flavored melodies, soulful strings, and deep basslines with a hypnotic electronic edge. The result is a club-ready fusion of bass house and soulful textures, combining emotive warmth with late-night energy and glitchy detail.

This new release marks Audiojack’s return to Dirtybird, following their Stay Strong EP in 2022. With “Rumours”, the duo once again showcases their knack for sonic storytelling — a perfect blend of mood and movement that adds another layer of depth to Dirtybird’s already eclectic anniversary catalog.

Formed in 2006, Audiojack — made up of Rich (based in York) and Jamie (based in Ibiza) — has released music on major labels like Defected, Toolroom, Crosstown Rebels, Nothing Else Matters, and Knee Deep In Sound. Their versatile production style has earned praise from outlets like DJ Mag and BBC Radio 1.

Dirtybird’s 20th Anniversary Tour continues with major dates including Dirtybird CampINN in Orlando, FL from August 29 to September 2. The label, founded in 2005, has become one of dance music’s most respected imprints, consistently pushing quirky, bass-heavy house to a devoted global audience.
