August 15, 2025 – Italian DJ and producer Kardon is starting a whole new chapter, and he’s doing it with some serious weight. Teaming up with Mbera Laterra, he’s dropped a massive rework of “Glera” — and it just so happens to be the very first release on his brand-new label, Kar Pubs.
Glera (Kardon Remix)
This remix was made with one mission: shake the floor. From tight percussion to deep basslines and those heavy, rolling drops, “Glera (Kardon Remix)” is pure peak-time energy. It’s the kind of track that grabs you from the first kick and doesn’t let go until the lights come on.
Who’s Kardon?
Straight out of Milan, Kardon has been living and breathing music since he was a kid. He grew up on keyboards, jumped into vinyl mixing in the 90s (thanks to his dad’s obsession with 80s and 90s tunes), and by the 2000s he was already making mashups and remixes that hit Deejay Time on national radio.
Since then, he’s dropped music on labels like Blanco Y Negro, Ensis Records, Tactical Records, Major Underground (Sony Music), Media Records, G-Mafia Records, Four Stripes Records, ZYX Music — with support coming from big DJs around the globe. His radio show “Kardon Selection” is also a regular stop for fans tuning in from Ibiza to Argentina to the UK.
Now, with Kar Pubs, Kardon isn’t just releasing tracks — he’s creating a space where he can push boundaries and keep things 100% authentic.
Influences & vision
Kardon sums up his sound in three words: Dynamic, Eclectic, Club-focused. He pulls influence from legends like Eric Prydz, Anyma, Matroda, Argy, and of course the roots of 80s/90s dance culture. And here’s a fun twist — he once led the ASM Ensemble, a 30-piece orchestra that mixed electronic and traditional instruments. Not exactly your average DJ backstory, right?
More than just another remix
For Kardon, this track means way more than just another release. It’s the statement piece to launch his label:
“Music is pure emotion. With this remix and with my label, I want to share authenticity — not hype, but real passion.”
