Tomorrowland Secures 5-Year Residency in Thailand Starting 2026

Tomorrowland has officially confirmed Thailand as its home for the next five years, after the Thai Cabinet approved an agreement to host the festival annually from 2026 to 2030. The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) will collaborate with Tomorrowland International and We Are One.World (Thailand) to deliver the event at world-class standards while aligning with the nation’s tourism objectives.

Economic forecasts highlight the festival’s massive potential impact. From ticket sales, sponsorships, and on-site spending, projections estimate over 12 billion baht in revenue initially, with figures expected to surpass 21 billion baht by 2030. Across the five-year run, attendance is projected to exceed one million visitors.

The move revives plans first explored in 2015 but delayed due to the pandemic. Tomorrowland’s arrival now plays a key role in the “Amazing Thailand Grand Tourism & Sports Year” campaign, reflecting the country’s goal of expanding its creative economy and strengthening its global cultural influence.

TAT Governor Thapanee Kiatphaibool emphasized that the festival will create jobs, boost tourism, and encourage knowledge exchange — including the possibility of establishing a Tomorrowland Academy in Thailand.

Tomorrowland Thailand is set to become a landmark event on Asia’s festival calendar, combining world-class production with significant economic and cultural impact.
