BLORD DIVES INTO THE STORM WITH “THE EYE” – A DEEP HOUSE JOURNEY
There’s a strange calm at the heart of every storm. Blord captures that feeling in “The Eye”, his latest release via G Mafia Records. Built on a foundation of deep house, melodic techno, and dance influences, the track balances dreamlike atmospheres with heavy, rolling energy, shifting between tranquility and intensity like an unpredictable current.
At its core, “The Eye” is about finding peace in the middle of chaos. Blord compares it to life itself—unpredictable, turbulent, yet full of moments where everything makes sense. The track mirrors that contrast, opening with an ethereal, weightless intro before the first drop hits without warning, a technique he deliberately used to break away from traditional energy builds.

Blord’s path into electronic music was anything but conventional. Introduced to the rave scene in his early teens, he grew up surrounded by trance, underground dance music, and immersive live performances. Influenced by Pink Floyd, Tool, Anyma, and Kavinsky, his sound leans into cinematic textures, deep rhythms, and emotive synth work, making his productions feel as visual as they are auditory.
His obsession with sonic storytelling extends to his live performances. Inspired by acts like Skrillex at Portola and Anyma’s mind-bending Shere show, he focuses on creating an atmosphere that pulls the crowd into his world. His ultimate goal is to perform on a stage like Tomorrowland Belgium, where his expansive, immersive sound could take full form.
Outside of the studio, Blord finds inspiration in traveling through the Caribbean, seeking out hidden beach clubs where music and setting become one. But 2025 isn’t just about exploration—it’s about expansion. With an EP dropping on April 4, he’s ready to reveal more of the story behind his alias, a project that blurs the line between reality and the unknown.
