David Guetta Crowned The World’s No.1 DJ in 2025

David Guetta has once again proven why he remains one of the most influential figures in dance music. At the Top 100 DJs 2025 awards in Ibiza, the French superstar claimed the title of World’s No.1 DJ, securing his fifth career win and tying the all-time record held by Martin Garrix and Armin van Buuren.

First crowned in 2011, Guetta went on to dominate the early 2020s with back-to-back victories in 2020, 2021, and 2023. Now, in 2025, more than four decades into his career, he continues to show no signs of slowing down.

Over the past year, Guetta has been relentless in the studio, releasing over one track per month and teaming up with heavyweights such as Afrojack, Martin Garrix, Nicky Romero, Fatboy Slim, MK, Hugel, and Sia. He even surprised fans with a remix for the fictional K-pop group Huntr/x, showcasing his ability to blur boundaries and stay ahead of trends.

On stage, his Galactic Circus residency at [UNVRS] Ibiza delivered marathon, improvised sets across the summer, while his global Monolith Tour packed out stadiums worldwide — from Paris’ Stade de France to AlUla in Saudi Arabia.

Reflecting on the achievement, Guetta shared:
To win Top 100 DJs again, for a joint-record fifth time, is an honour… but the most exciting thing for me is still being creative and going away from what everyone else is doing.”

The Ibiza ceremony also shone a spotlight on other global stars:

  • Armin van Buuren – Outstanding Contribution & World’s No.1 Trance DJ

  • Sara Landry – World’s No.1 Hard DJ

  • Michael Bibi – Highest New Entry

  • Jazzy – Future Star

  • Charlotte de Witte – World’s No.1 Techno DJ

  • FISHER – World’s No.1 House DJ

  • Solomun – Highest Climber

  • Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike – World’s No.1 DJ Group

With another historic milestone under his belt, David Guetta proves once again why his name is etched permanently into the DNA of electronic music.
